Amazon package certification saves time and money. A package that meets frustration-free standards doesn’t require additional preparation by Amazon. It also reduces the amount of packaging waste and ultimately is easier for the consumer to open.
Amazon’s goal is to have every package that passes through their system fall into one of three categories:
Beginning August 1, 2019, all packages 18” x 14” x 8” and larger as well as packages weighing more than 20 lbs. are required to be Amazon certified. Packages not certified will be assessed a chargeback per item. Vendors who certify their packages as FFP can qualify for Amazon’s incentive program, earning monetary rewards and other perks for active participation in certification.
